Dr. Li Li has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for over 37 years. She received her Doctor of Chinese Medicine degree in 1983 from Chengdu University of Chinese Medicine, one of China’s most prestigious schools in this field. Before she was invited to teach Chinese medicine in the United States, she had already practiced, researched and taught Chinese medicine at her alma mater and its hospital for 17 years. There she held the positions of Professor and the Director of Education and Research Department of Acupuncture. Dr. Li Li was declared an "Outstanding Expert in Traditional Medicine" in China in 1999. She was invited to Europe to introduce acupuncture and put on a television program about acupuncture in 1997.
Dr. Li Li has published a book and 15 articles based on her research and practice, and has attended numerous national and international academic conferences. She is a member of China Association of Acupuncture, the most respected organization of academics and practitioners of acupuncture in China.
Dr. Li Li is a professor at Southwest Acupuncture College in New Mexico, a National Certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist (NCCAOM), and a licensed Doctor of Oriental Medicine in the state of New Mexico.
Dr. Li Li has successfully treated thousands of patients with various health conditions with her gentle style of acupuncture, natural herbs, dietary therapy, Chinese body work and exercise. In her practice, she sees every client as a unique individual. She takes time to listen to her patients, discuss their health concerns with them, and design individualized treatment plans that address their symptoms and their root causes. She also emphasizes client education to promote health and prevent disease.
